Why We Give
One of the ways we express our worship to God
Giving is an act of worship. Scripture teaches us to honor God with our resources (Proverbs 3:9) and to invest in the work of His Kingdom so that the Gospel can advance and lives can be transformed (2 Corinthians 9:6–7).
Your generosity strengthens the local church, advances the Gospel, and helps people encounter the life Jesus offers. It supports the ministry needs that happen at our church—allowing the mission of Vertical to continue, resourcing our ministries, caring for our building, and supporting our staff so we can serve with excellence.
Vertical Church also gives 10% of all contributions to meet needs within our community and to support local outreach, including North Ellis County Outreach, Chrysalis to Wings, First Look, and Texas Baptist Children's Home.
