Why We Give
One of the ways we express our worship to God
Giving is an act of worship.
Scripture teaches us to honor God with our resources (Proverbs 3:9) and to invest in the work of His Kingdom so the Gospel can advance and lives can be transformed (2 Corinthians 9:6–7).
When you give, you are partnering with what God is doing through Vertical Church. Your generosity strengthens the local church, advances the Gospel, and helps people encounter the life Jesus offers. It allows the mission of Vertical to continue by resourcing our ministries, caring for our building, and supporting our staff so we can serve with excellence and faithfulness.
Vertical Church also gives a portion of all contributions to meet needs beyond our walls. This includes supporting our community and local outreach partners such as North Ellis County Outreach, Chrysalis to Wings, First Look, and Texas Baptist Children’s Home.
