Beach Faith – 7: God Reveals His Will To Those Who Find Their Rest In Christ

This Is The Name Of The Podcast

This week, we'll see how Jesus meets Peter at a time although he should have been living in the greatest joy, peace, passion, purpose, and power in his life, he instead was walking in guilt, darkness, depression, confusion, and doubt. He was stuck. In his stuck place, Jesus meets him. That place is on a beach. There, Jesus meets him and gently frees him.

From time to time, we all enter those places where we find ourselves stuck. Jesus meets us there to free us. May God's Word and worship be boldly proclaimed and may we all hear, believe, and walk in the victory that is ours in Jesus! May captives be set free! May the blind see and lame walk! May those who haven't been able to move forward find new hope, direction, and life!

Beach Faith – 6: Living in the Confident Rest of God’s Protection

Beach Faith - 6: Living in the Confident Rest of God's Protection

This Sunday, we continue with the next message in the series with a challenge to know that God calls us to Beach Faith in order to prepare us for Battle Faith. Beach Faith should never lead us to inactivity, laziness, or disobedience. Instead, rest in our soul should ignite passion in our heart to serve, give, sacrifice, obey, and work harder than we ever have before!

Through the story of the children of Israel at the Red Sea, we'll see how their experience at a Beach led them to a battle and a miracle beyond what they could have imagined.

Our prayer should be that God will bring us to a place of full commitment and surrender to Christ. Praying for a spirit of repentance and commitment that will take us to new levels of surrender and obedience in our life.

Beach Faith – 5: Find Rest From Sin And Enter The Depths Of New Passions In Christ

Beach Faith – 5: Find Rest From Sin And Enter The Depths Of New Passions In Christ

We continue our exciting Beach Faith series this week with a new depth of what it means to be at rest in Christ. The New Testament says that when Jesus suffered, He was made to rest from sin. That same passage then calls us to have that same mindset. We're called out into the deeper waters of all that is ours in Jesus Christ, but in order to do so we have leave behind our past and our sin. We have to come to places in our life where we are finished and at rest from who we once were.

This is a message of great calling and freedom, but it is also a message of great challenge. The pull to stay on land and where we're comfortable is great. The joys out in the depth are greater, but few will take the steps.

Our prayer should be for a spirit of obedience to all that God is speaking! What awaits us in the depths of Christ is of greater wonder than we could ever imagine!

Beach Faith – 3: How To Live At Rest While You Wait For God To Work

Beach Faith – 3: How To Live At Rest While You Wait For God To Work

Waiting on God can be difficult, even for mature believers. This week we continue in our current series Beach Faith. Christians are called to have Beach Faith in God that he will do what He promises to do. Elijah demonstrated this type of faith when he faced Ahab and his prophets. Elijah's great faith that God would do what He promised to do resulted in an awesome display of God's power. Great faith usually develops as a result of great trial. As God proves Himself faithful in smaller trials, a believer's faith will grow. As trials increase, faith can continue to grow. Our prayer should be that God will develop our faith in Him through the trials we face in life.

Beach Faith – 2: How To Rest In And Live With Confident Beach Faith

Beach Faith – 2: How To Rest In And Live With Confident Beach Faith

This Sunday is the second message in our Beach Faith series!  We'll look at the importance of being at rest in our salvation. The Bible says that the children of Israel did missed out on all that God had for them in the promised land because they did not enter His rest. Because they didn't have rest in their soul, they wandered for 40 years not living in the blessings God had for them. Our prayer should be to experience confidence, rest, and security in our salvation so that we can move on into even greater wonders in Christ!

Beach Faith – 1: Learning To Live At Rest In Christ’s Work

Beach Faith – 1: Learning To Live At Rest In Christ’s Work

Jesus invited all who were weary and heavy laden to come to Him so that they could find rest for the souls. He was inviting them to a vacation of the soul. There is a place of rest that awaits us all – a place of peace, freedom from fear, absence of stress, and release from having to work to be blessed by God.
